Courses and Programs

Our intensive Spanish language program for international students has been in operation since 1995.  We are one of the oldest and most stable language programs in Nicaragua, and our highest priority is the quality of our instruction.  We have a range of study options for individuals and group programs.  We also teach our students about the economic, political, social, ecological and cultural realities of Nicargua and Central America.  Our students no only improve their Spanish language skills, they really get to know the community and the people of Granada, through homestays with families, volunteer work, excursions and special educational programs.

In recent years we have also begun an English as a Foreign Language (EFL) program for Nicaraguan youth and adults.  Bilingual skills are in great demand in Central America and for many Nicaraguans they are the key to getting jobs that pay enough to support a family.  There are several for-profit English language "schools" in Granada, but our goal is to provide free, high-quality instruction for our students.
