Casa Xalteva is an innovative educational and cultural center offering Spanish language classes, volunteer social service opportunities,and special programs to introduce you to the Nicaraguan people, their history, culture and natural environment. Field trips and special activities help expose students to Nicaragua and its' people, and give them practical experience using the Spanish language.

Through our volunteer social service programs we hope also to contribute something back to help improve the lives of our Nicaraguan hosts. The foundation also raises funds for a variety of programs to help alleviate the poverty in Nicaragua, including social services for children.

Casa Xalteva is a non-profit educational and charitable foundation registered in Nicaragua, and supported by Communitas Foundation, a tax-exempt, 501-c-3 non-profit foundation chartered in New Mexico, United States.
